Retreat Park Am See Nattika Ayurveda

There is a question many women arrive with at Park am See Nattika and rarely say out loud: when did I last put myself first? The Ayurveda Cure answers it with the body: oil, warmth, rest, food that is cooked for you. From 21 November to 13 December 2026, Doris Iding returns to answer it with the mind.

Who is Doris Iding

Doris Iding is a mindfulness and meditation coach, trauma-sensitive companion, yoga teacher, breath coach and author based in Munich. She has more than thirty years of experience and a path she describes, in her own words, as anything but straight.

She completed her Abitur at thirty through evening school, then studied ethnology, religious studies and psychology, driven by a wish to understand how people live and what consciousness is. Her trainings span personality development, mediation, mindfulness and compassion practice, MBSR, trauma-sensitive support, yoga and mindfulness-based yoga, in Germany and abroad.

She is the author of several books on mindfulness, yoga and spirituality, translated into a number of languages, among them Sieben Minuten Glück, Alles was ist, darf sein and Das Leben, mein Meister, and the card set Mach Schluss mit Deiner Angst. As a journalist she has written on yoga, wellness and health for titles such as happinez, Natur & Heilen and yoga aktuell, and has appeared on Bayern 2 and mystica.tv.

„Mein Weg war nicht geradlinig.“ — My path was not a straight one.

How she works

Doris describes her approach as grounded spirituality: mindfulness, meditation, breathwork and somatic yoga drawn from Buddhist and Western psychology, offered as living tools rather than techniques. Her work is trauma-sensitive, which in practice means pace is set by the person, not the programme.

„In meiner Arbeit geht es nicht darum, Dich zu optimieren oder ‚besser zu funktionieren‘.“ — My work is not about optimising you or making you function better.

„Achtsamkeit fängt da an, wo Bequemlichkeit aufhört.“ — Mindfulness begins where comfort ends.

The aim, as she puts it, is to arrive back at yourself, in your own tempo. She works with people who feel inwardly restless or exhausted, who are in a phase of upheaval, who want to learn to set boundaries, or who are looking for a meditation practice without pressure.

The Inner Strength retreat

Inner Strength is a personal coaching retreat for women, built on the Ayurveda Cure at Park am See Nattika and extended by four additional days of one-to-one coaching with Doris. Its theme is care: care from others, self-care, and the self-efficacy that grows when the two meet.

The sequence is deliberate. The cure comes first and does what Ayurveda does in the quiet months: it settles the body, restores sleep and digestion, and takes the noise down. The coaching days follow, when there is finally room to listen. Doris guides each guest individually, with mindfulness, breath and gentle somatic work, towards the questions that brought her here.

  • Dates: 21 November – 13 December 2026
  • Format: the full Ayurveda Cure plus four additional days of individual coaching
  • For: women
  • Coaching structure and minimum stay: 4 nights

Inner Strength first ran at Park am See Nattika in spring 2026. This winter edition is the second.

Why winter

In Ayurveda, the cold months belong to Vata, the principle of air and movement: dry, light and quick to unsettle sleep, digestion and mood. The remedy is warmth, oil, weight and routine, which is exactly what a cure in November and December provides. It is also, in our experience, the time of year when guests arrive most depleted and leave most changed. Pairing that season with coaching is not a coincidence.
